Jan. 23—5th grade Vikes fall to Loogootee

MONTGOMERY — Fifth grade Lady Vikings lost to Loogootee, 21-10.

Lady Hatchets down Loogootee

The Washington Junior High girls hosted Loogootee at the Junior High gym Saturday morning for their last home game of regular season. The seventh grade (12-8) held their best game for the last game of the year winning in style, 29-18.

The eighth grade (18-3) played a good Loogootee team and took over in the 3rd and 4th quarters and pulled ahead and pick up their 18th win 41-34.

The eighth grade girls and travels to Boonville on Monday night to play Boonville in the opening round of the PAC Tourney in the second game of the night.

Washington 6th grade wins

The Washington sixth grade Black team improved to 10-5 Saturday with a win over South Knox, 29-26.

The Hatchets were led by Hunter Newland with 11 points. Drew Clawson scored nine, Dylan Stowers eight and Cole McCleese one point. Washington's next game is Thursday at Griffith against Loogootee.
