Portsmouth Middle School seeks volleyball coach

Spartans holding youth basketball camp Aug. 15-18
HAMPTON - The New Hampshire Spartans will have a basketball camp for boys and girls between second grade and high school junior from August 15-18 at the Sports Barn.
The camp, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will focus on skills training small group positional workouts and 3-on-3 games. Cost is $175 for the week.

WHS cross country alumni race Aug. 16
HAMPTON — The annual Winnacunnet High School cross country alumni race is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16.
The women's race will start at 5 p.m., with the men starting at 5:30. Registration for alumni will be from 4:15 to 4:45 at the concession field by the football field. A post-race cookout will follow.
Spartans hoop tryouts begin Aug. 21
HAMPTON - The New Hampshire Spartans will hold its first tryouts for the upcoming AAU basketball season on Sunday, August 21 at the Sports Barn.
Tryout times for boys and girls in third through sixth grade will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., seventh and eighth grade boys and girls will go from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and high school boys and girls will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
