The fall high school playoffs are in full swing for Fall River area teams.

HIGHLIGHTS: In the round of 32 for the MIAA playoffs, Olivia Silva had 29 assists, spreading the ball to multiple hitters. Hannah Storm had 8 kills, Jamie Moniz had 9 kills, Loagan Brown had 7 kills, and Ava Silva had 6 kills to lead a very balanced attack. Sophia Conos was her usual strong self in the back row.

Girls volleyball: Division V Round of 32: Westport at West Bridgewater
SCORE: West Bridgewater 3, Westport 2

HIGHLIGHTS: Taylor Perry had 17 assists, 14 service points and 6 aces. Kyleigh Finglas had 12 kills, 10 service points and 3 aces. Braylin Montigny had 10 digs and 3 service points. Jayda Pequita had 3 digs, 9 service points and 6 aces.

HIGHLIGHTS: Goals were by Shawn Kalunga and Conrado Silva. “Very happy to get a road playoff victory, but now we need to turn our sights towards a very tough Sutton HS team,” said coach Nathan Mello.
