Girls basketball: Somerset Berkley vs. Wareham
SCORE: Somerset Berkley 45, Wareham 29
LOCATION: Somerset Berkley

RECORD: Somerset Berkley, 6-6 (6-2 in South Coast Conference)
HIGHLIGHTS: The Raiders took care of business at home against league opponent Wareham. Mia Gentile and Gabriella Nugent each led SBR with a team-high nine points. Mikaela Seymour finished with eight points.
NEXT UP: The Raiders host Greater New Bedford on Friday.

Boys basketball: Somerset Berkley at Wareham
SCORE: Wareham 76, Somerset Berkley 71
LOCATION: Wareham
DATE: Jan. 24
RECORD: Somerset Berkley, 7-5 (4-4 in South Coast Conference)
HIGHLIGHTS: The Raiders lost a close game down the stretch to Wareham on the road. Mason Medeiros and Brendan McDonald each scored a team-high 21 points for SBR. Drew McGarry added nine points and seven rebounds while Will Dionne finished with eight points and seven rebounds. Finn Bjork chipped in with five points and seven rebounds. "[A] back and fourth game," Raiders head coach Bob Slater said. "Great team effort for us tonight. Couldn’t be prouder of the boys tonight."

Boys basketball: Case vs. Dighton-Rehoboth
SCORE: Dighton-Rehoboth 61, Case 52

HIGHLIGHTS: Despite a season-high 34 points for Landon Cayton, the Cardinals dropped a close game with league opponent Dighton-Rehoboth. Will Morin chipped in with 10 points for Case.
NEXT UP: The Cardinals travel to Bourne on Friday.
Boys Swimming: Durfee at New Bedford
SCORE: Durfee 91, New Bedford 72
LOCATION: UMass Dartmouth
DATE: Jan. 24
RECORD: Durfee, 3-5 (1-2 in SEC)
HIGHLIGHTS: The Hilltoppers boys swim and dive team won their meet against league opponent New Bedford on the road. Michael Harrington was a double winner for Durfee in the 200 and 500 freestyle events (2:20.42 and 6:23.99). Cooper Long and Forrest Malo each won their respective events in the 100 free and 100 breaststroke with times of 59.08 and 1:22.51. The Hilltoppers swept the three relays with teams of Malo, Nicholas Caron, Timothy Archambault, and William Pierce winning the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:29.11. The relay team of Harrington, Long, Omar Mahmoud, and William Rumsey each won the 200 and 400 free relays with times of 1:49.33 and 4:10.06.

SCORE: New Bedford 100. Durfee 81
LOCATION: UMass Dartmouth
DATE: Jan. 24
RECORD: Durfee, 4-5 (1-2 in SEC)
HIGHLIGHTS: The Hilltopper girls swim and dive team dropped their meet against league opponent New Bedford on the road. Rachael Silva won the 1-meter dive for Durfee with a score of 250.10. Madison Ferreira finished second with a State Championship qualifying score of 202.50. Aimee Tiebout was the lone double winner with a first place finish in the 200 and 500 freestyle events (2:16.60 and 6:12.72).
