TAUNTON— It was another day full of high school sports action for the Greater Taunton area Tuesday.

HIGHLIGHTS: Sam Denis was the top finisher for the Tigers with a time of 17:53 while Brayden Cali finished with a time of 17:58, Andrew Cali finished with a time of 18:01, Jack Pawlowski finished with a time of 18:34 and Aiden Zamoura finished with a time of 18:46.

Girls Cross Country: Taunton vs. Franklin

HIGHLIGHTS: Colby Dunham was the Tigers' top finisher of the day, coming in third with a time of 21:27 while Emersyn DePonte finished sixth with a time of 22:54, Quinlan Kiley finished 10th with a time of 23:01, Sarah Mendonca finished 12th with a time of 23:05 and Arianna Abatangelo finished 15th with a time of 24:49.

HIGHLIGHTS: Set scores were 17-25, 7-25, 26-24 and 19-25. Courtney Martin led the way for the Tigers with nine digs and served out the third set with eight straight points with three aces mixed in. Sadie Herry and Anna Abouzeid both had had eight digs while Hayley Krockta had 14 kills and a block.
