Sports Speak Up! Fans weigh in, cry out in frustration over Lobo women's hoops
Jan. 20—DAVE'S LAMENT over the Lady Lobo Basketball Team's most recent "disintegration" in San Diego was a sad marker for a team that has shown skills, cohesiveness, spirit, desire, maturity, and their ability to win, against all odds. You raise up our hopes and then you crush that faith in the team, its coaches, and yes, its fans, who in our fondest moments dream of them being a national force in NCAA lady basketball, at least west of the Mississippi River.

THIS LADY LOBO team is not inspired & (the) constant ranting, raving, hollering, yelling by Bradbury is disrupting, even causing turnovers. Impossible to concentrate on your game when being shouted at continually, no flow of the game if as a player your focus is on coach not the game. I predict lots of transfers out of this program end of season.

I'M AN ARDENT Lady Lobo fan. I go to or watch all of their games. It's time for Bradbury to go. He gets outcoached by every coach in our league. He does not know how to take a timeout and change defense or offense. I have 3 family members now coaching girls college basketball and I coached high school girls, so I know what I'm talking about. I am 85. I would like just once before I die to see us win conference outright, the conference tourney and go to the big dance.

COACH BRADBURY snatches defeat from the jaws of victory again! How long is UNM going to put up with this coach that constantly takes out bench players that are performing to put back starters who are not performing?

THE GREG HEIAR era at NMSU is off to a rough start. Surely there will be repercussions he will face for insufficient oversight stemming from the Nov. 19 shooting at UNM plus the performance of the team since then has been in free fall and off to their worst season in years.

NFHS NETWORK is the ESPN of high school sports. To drop them for GameVision is a disservice to all APS athletes. But, hey, for $60,000, APS can hire one more teacher.

SORRY, I HAD to turn off (Tuesday's Lobo men's game vs. San Jose State) at the half. I really got tired of 90 minutes of two coaches trying to make more noise than the other because they knew they were on TV the whole time. If this is the future broadcast of Lobo games, then I'm out.
