Friday, Jan. 20 games to watch

NBA: Miami Heat at Dallas Mavericks, 5:30 p.m., ESPN

Luke Doncic is averaging 33.7 points per game this season to lead the NBA. He is shooting 49.7% from the field.

Women's college basketball: Utah at Stanford, 7 p.m., Pac-12 Networks

The Top-10 women's basketball Pac-12 showdown between the 15-1 Utes and 17-2 Cardinal could be fun.

NBA: Memphis Grizzlies at Los Angeles Lakers, 8 p.m., ESPN

For all of the Lakers' struggles, they are just two games out of being the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference.

Men's college basketball: Boise State at New Mexico, 9 p.m., FS1

Boise State is 15-4. New Mexico is 17-2. Yes, it's late, but this game could be worth staying up for.

Saturday, Jan. 21 games to watch

Men's college basketball: TCU at Kansas, 11 a.m., CBS

Both of these Top-15 ranked teams are coming off losses ahead of the Big 12 showdown.

Men's college basketball: UCLA at Arizona, noon, ABC

UCLA has control of the Pac-12 right now, with a perfect 8-0 conference record. Arizona (5-3 in Pac-12) doesn't want another conference loss.

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs, 2:30 p.m., NBC

The Chiefs beat the Jaguars in Week 10 in Kansas City, 27-17. Can the Jaguars shock the Chiefs in the NFL playoffs Divisional Round?

NBA: Milwaukee Bucks at Cleveland Cavaliers, 5:30 p.m., Bally Sports Wisconsin, Bally Sports Ohio

A lot of the season is left, but this very well could be a preview of an NBA playoffs series. Just 1.5 games separate these teams in the standings.

NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles, 6:15 p.m., Fox

The Eagles beat the Giants in Week 16, 48-22. They beat them in Week 18, 22-16. Will they beat them a third time this season in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs?

NBA: Philadelphia 76ers at Sacramento Kings, 8 p.m., NBCSP+, NBC Sports California

The Kings have won five straight games and are one of the biggest surprises in the NBA. Can they keep this up?

Sunday, Jan. 22 games to watch

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m., CBS

These teams' Week 17 game was canceled, so we'll finally get to see them play. The winner goes to the AFC Championship Game.

PGA Golf:  The American Express, 1 p.m., Golf Channel

Could we see an exciting finish to this golf tournament?

Women's college basketball: Colorado at Stanford, 3 p.m., Pac-12 Networks

The lone game between Top 25 women's teams on Sunday. Can the Buffaloes shock the Cardinal?

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers, 4:30 p.m., Fox

The 49ers have won 11 straight games entering the game, which could be a very intriguing NFL Divisional Playoff game.

NBA: Brooklyn Nets at Golden State Warriors, 6:30 p.m., NBA TV

This game loses some luster without Kevin Durant playing, but it's still the Nets and Warriors on a Sunday night.
