Spotify put Isiah Pacheco dancing as Swag Surfin’ video graphic on app

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Spotify users can see Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco dancing on the sidelines of Arrowhead if they listen to the song, “Swag Surfin'” on the music streaming app.

Despite most of the 2024 playoffs being on the road, it has been a fun ride for Kansas City fans.

How many Super Bowl rings have the Kansas City Chiefs won in red?

However, there’s always a special kind of fun created when the games are played inside Arrowhead Stadium.

That was no different when the Chiefs hosted the Miami Dolphins on Wild Card Weekend.

It began when Willie Gay told some folks on the sidelines during that game “Pass the word up and tell them to play ‘Swag Surf,’ we really need that.”

On the next defensive stop, as Gay insisted, the DJ played the very popular hip-hop song “Swag Surfin'” by F.L.Y.

That put the whole crowd into a frenzy, including Taylor Swift, Donna Kelce and Brittany Mahomes who swayed back and forth to the iconic hype song.

All of this attention on the song released back in 2009 gave Spotify and F.L.Y. a good idea.

They’ve taken a video of Pacheco dancing to that song from the Wild Card game and put it on a loop while the song plays on the Spotify app.

Users cannot view the video on Spoifty from a desktop, but what can be seen from a computer is a “Shoutout to Chiefs Kingdom! 🏄🏈” on the F.L.Y. Spotify account. It is the Swag Surfin’ song under the ‘Artist pick’ with an accompanying picture of the Chiefs running onto the field in the background.

Maybe since the Chiefs are the “home team” for Super Bowl LVIII they can get the song played inside Allegiant Stadium after another big defensive stop.
