Bergen County traffic

  • A New York Giants festival and special event will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Aug. 24, from 6 to 10 p.m. In addition, the Giants and Jets preseason game will be on Aug. 26. These events may cause congestion at exit 16W on the New Jersey Turnpike; Routes 3, 17 and 120; Interstate 495, the Lincoln Tunnel, and the George Washington Bridge.

  • The left lane will be closed for roadwork on Interstate 287 southbound near exit 59 in Franklin Lakes, from 9 p.m. to midnight on Aug. 22.

  • The right lane will be closed for curb work on Route 17 northbound near Midland Avenue in Paramus, from 9 p.m. on Aug. 22 through 5 a.m. on Aug. 23.

  • Two lanes will be closed for line striping on Route 17 north between East Saddle River Road in Ridgewood and Lake Street in Ramsey, from 9 p.m. to 6 am., Aug. 23 through Aug. 26.

  • The right lane will be closed in each direction for construction on Route 46 between Summit Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights and Hollister Road in Teterboro, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Aug. 23 through Aug. 25.

  • The northbound Exit 157 ramp on the Garden State Parkway in Elmwood Park will be closed for milling and paving operations, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Aug. 23 through Aug. 25.

  • The ramps from Route 17 to Route 46 in Hasbrouck Heights will be closed in both directions for guard rail repairs from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Aug. 23 through Aug 25.

  • The Eastern Spur of the New Jersey Turnpike northbound will be closed between Newark and Ridgefield, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., through Aug. 24.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on the George Washington Bridge lower level eastbound, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., through Aug. 25. All lower level lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Aug. 25, and from 11 p.m. on Aug. 25 to 8 a.m. on Aug. 26.

  • One lane will be closed for roadwork on Route 208 in each direction near Ewing Avenue in Franklin Lakes, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Aug. 25.

  • The southbound ramp from the Palisades Intersate Parkway to the George Washington Bridge upper level will be closed and detoured for construction from 10 p.m. to Aug. 26 to 5 a.m. on Aug. 27.

  • At least one local lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 eastbound near Exit 66 in Hackensack, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Aug. 26.

Essex County traffic

  • One lane will be closed on Route 24 westbound for guard rail repairs between exit 8 in Millburn and exit 7 in Chatham on Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on Route 10 eastbound in Livingston from Aug. 23 at 8 p.m. through Aug. 24 at 5 a.m.

  • All lanes will be closed for construction on New Jersey Turnpike Outer Roadway southbound, between exit 14 and exit 6, from 9 p.m. on Aug. 24 to 5 a.m. on Aug. 25.

  • One lane will be closed for construction on Garden State Parkway northbound between exit 144 in Irvington and exit 145 in East Orange, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Aug. 24.

  • The left local lane will be closed for roadwork on I-78 westbound near exit 57 in Newark, from 10 a.m. on Aug. 24 through 5 a.m. on Aug. 25.

  • Two lanes will be closed in both directions for construction on Route 21 between exit 7 in Belleville and Exit 12 in Passaic, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Aug. 26.

  • At least one lane will be closed for roadwork on I-280 in each direction between exits 11 and 12 in East Orange, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Aug. 26.

  • The right lane will be closed for landscaping on Route 21 northbound between South Street and the Prudential Center in Newark, from 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 to 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 11.

Hudson County traffic

  • The right lane will be closed for road maintenance operations on Route 139 Upper eastbound, from Central Avenue to Oakland Street in Jersey City, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Aug. 22 through Aug. 25.

  • Two lanes will be closed for bridge work on Truck Route 1&9 southbound at the Hackensack River Drawbridge in Kearny/Jersey City, from 9 p.m. on Aug. 25 through 4 a.m. on Aug. 26.

  • All southbound lanes will be closed and detoured northbound for bridge maintenance operations on Route 7, between Charlotte Circle in Jersey City and Fish House Road in Kearny, Aug. 26 at 5 a.m. through Aug. 27 at 9 p.m.

  • The Lincoln Tunnel South Tube eastbound will be closed from 11 p.m. on Aug. 24 to 5 a.m. on Aug. 25.

  • Route 46 eastbound will be intermittently closed for utility work and curb work near Willow Grove Street in Mount Olive on Aug. 21 and Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on Route 10 westbound, between Route 202 and Davis Avenue in Morris Plains, Aug. 21 through Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • The right lane will be closed on Route 15 in both directions near Berkshire Valley Road in Rockaway and Jefferson, Aug. 21 through Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • All lanes will be closed and detoured on Route 10 eastbound at Dryden Way in Hanover, Aug. 21 through Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • At least one lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 westbound between exit 59 in Paterson and exit 45 in Parsippany, between 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 through 8 a.m. on Aug. 26.

  • One lane will be closed each direction for construction on Route 46 between Kenvil Avenue in Roxbury and Canfield Ave in Mine Hill, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Aug. 23.

  • The right local lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 westbound near exit 47A in Parsippany, from 11 p.m. on Aug. 25 to 7 a.m. on Aug. 26.

  • The right lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 westbound near Exit 27 in Roxbury on Aug. 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. The right lane will be closed eastbound in the same area from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • All lanes will be closed intermittently for utility work on Route 46 eastbound near Alphano Road in Independence, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Aug. 24 and Aug. 25.

  • On I-80 eastbound near Exit 27 in Mount Olive, the right lane will be closed on Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • The left lane will be closed for bridge work on Route 15 northbound in Jefferson, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Aug. 25.

  • The left lane will be closed for construction on Route 15 in both directions near Dewey Avenue in Wharton, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Aug. 23.

  • One lane will be cloased for bridge inspection on Route 183 southbound area near Route 206 in Roxbury on Aug. 24, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Passaic County traffic

  • One lane will be closed in each direction on Route 46, between Van Houten Avenue and Route 20 in Clifton, on Aug. 22, from noon to 3 p.m.; Aug. 23 and Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Aug. 24 and Aug. 25, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

  • Two lanes will be closed in both directions for construction on Route 21 between exit 7 in Belleville and Exit 12 in Passaic, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., through Aug. 26.

  • All lanes will be closed intermittently for drainage improvements and utility work on Route 20 in both directions, from E. 30th Street in Paterson to the Route 46 split in Clifton, from Aug. 21 at 9 a.m. through Aug. 25 at 3 p.m.

  • The right lane will be closed for construction on Route 21 northbound near Exit 9 in Clifton, Aug. 21 through Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • The left lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 eastbound, between exit 28 and exit 30 in Roxbury, on Aug. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • The northbound Exit 154 ramp on the Garden State Parkway in Clifton will be closed for milling and paving operations from 10 p.m. on Aug. 21 through 5 a.m. on Aug. 22.

  • Two lanes will be closed for construction on the Garden State Parkway southbound between exit 153A in Clifton and exit 151 in Bloomfield, from 11 p.m. on Aug. 22 to 5 a.m. on Aug. 23.

  • The entrance ramp at Garden State Parkway exit 154 in Clifton will be closed for milling and paving operations from 10 p.m. on Aug. 24 through 5 a.m. on Aug. 25.

  • The right lane will be closed on Route 20 northbound, between Route 46 in Clifton and 20th Avenue in Paterson, for drainage improvements and longterm construction until Sept. 29.

  • Construction will continue to keep the Route 46 westbound ramp to Valley Road in Clifton closed until Feb. 4.

  • At least one lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 westbound between exit 59 in Paterson and exit 45 in Parsippany, between 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 through 8 a.m. on Aug. 26.

  • The left lane will be closed for roadwork on I-80 eastbound near exit 58 in Paterson on Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
