Is life imitating art for actor Dominic West?

Or is “The Affair” star trying to go viral with attention grabby antics to promote his next project?

Whatever the case, the Golden Globe Award nominee is hitting back after accusations he’s been having, well, an affair with actress Lily James.

After the two were photographed kissing in Rome over the weekend, West and his wife of 10 years, Catherine Fitzgerald, put on a united front to show everything is just fine in their marriage.

On Tuesday, the couple posed for a photo op outside their home in England, sharing a kiss of their own for photographers.

To add to the theatrics, they also held up a written sign that read, “Our marriage is strong and we’re very much still together. Thank you.”

While U.K tabloids went into overdrive with reports of West, 50, and James, 31, in Rome, they are set to co-star in the Emily Mortimer-helmed TV series “The Pursuit of Love,” based on the 1945 Nancy Mitford novel.

West and Fitzgerald have four children: Dora, 14, Senan, 12, Francis, 11, and Christabel, 7.

West, who gained acclaim in America for roles in the acclaimed HBO series “The Wire” and “The Affair,” also has a 22-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

James played the titular role in Kenneth Branagh’s live action 2015 adaptation of “Cinderella.” The Surrey-born beauty was previously linked to “Doctor Who” star Matt Smith.

She has history with West.

In 2011, James starred as Desdemona in the Crucible Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s “Othello” in Sheffield, England. West played Iago.
