Sprague baseball player Chris Rogers is the Statesman Journal Athlete of the Week, having won a poll of readers.

During a recent three-game stretch, he hit .481 with seven hits, two doubles, a triple, three RBIs and three stolen bases.

Here is another look at this week’s other nominees.

Jordan Koskondy, North Salem track and field: She won Mid-Willamette Conference championships in the 100 meters (12.62), 100-hurdles (14.88), 300-hurdles (45.30) and shot put (40-2).

Olivia Jolivette, West Salem track and field: She won the Mountain Valley Conference championship in the 100 meters (12.82), finished second in the 200 meters (26.53), finished fifth in the long jump (16-0) and helped the Titans’ 4x100 relay team finish second (51.52).

Emma Cordero, South Salem softball: She went 4 for 5 with three runs, a home run and a stolen base in a recent game against West Salem, and 5 for 5 with six runs, five RBIs and three doubles in a doubleheader against Summit.
