Spring Fling coming to town April 29-May 1

Apr. 20—MORGANTON — Foothills Market is coming back to town for their annual "Spring Fling" Market for one weekend only, Friday, April 29 until Sunday, May 1, at the Double C Event Venue, 4800 Pax Hill Rd in Morganton.

Foothills Market Days is the ultimate shopping experience that focuses on supporting the makers, artisans, and small businesses from across the states.

Carlee Price created the Foothills Market Days in October 2020 in response to the COVID-19 national shut downs. The goal was to focus on promoting small, independent businesses.

"Our Markets have continued to grow and the community loves not just the shopping and supporting small businesses, but also the entire experience with family fun activities, live music, food trucks, and so much more," said Price.

The Market has expanded and now features artisans from across the states, with unique gifts, handmade treasures, furniture, candles, jewelry, tasty treats, personalized items, boutique clothing, men's gifts, outdoor decor, Mother's Day gifts, and more.

There will be live music with local musicians, horse and carriage rides with Priceless Carriage Company, face painting by Shenanigans Entertainment, and hourly giveaways.

Twisted Vine Winery will host the Sip & Shop experience, serving wine by the glass and their popular wine slushies. Lunch will be served by Anywherez Fine, Waffle Chics, DonutNV, and Carolina Coffee.

Tickets can be pre-purchased online or bought at the gate. Pre-purchased tickets come with perks. The first 25 ticket holders in line will receive Foothills Market Days swag bags filled with free gifts and coupons from numerous vendors. Early entry begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 30th. Tickets are good for re-entry all weekend.

"We are so excited to be back in Caldwell County and hope the whole community can come, bring the family and enjoy everything our Market has to offer," Price said. "It is truly a family fun event!"
