Harper Lane Brewery teams up with The Local Eatery

There’s something exciting brewing at The Local Eatery, 16 Wareham St., Middleboro. Starting this summer, The Local Eatery will be working in tandem with Harper Lane Brewery, another business that will be sharing their building space. The two businesses will be working in tandem, with Harper Lane providing seating for Local Eatery customers.

“Patrons will be able to enjoy our offerings together as they'll be able to get food from our restaurant and enjoy it while drinking brews from Harper Lane,” Local Eatery co-owner and pastry chef Destiny Smith told The Taunton Daily Gazette in a previous interview.

Cater your event with Burrito Bowl To Go’s food truck

The return of warm weather means event season is ramping up as well. Taunton’s Burrito Bowl to Go, 324 Winthrop St., inside the Mobil gas station, is affiliated with The Burrito Bowl, which has a food truck. It can be rented out for all sorts of outdoor events. Cruise Nights at The Star Drive-In

Get ready to start your engines, because Cruise Nights are returning to The Star Drive-In, 205 Myricks St., East Taunton. If you own a classic car, you’ve got an open invitation. Beginning on Wednesday, May 3, cruise on down to the Star from 4 to 9 p.m. From May 3 to 17, all those that register will receive a $10 gift card, good for anything on the menu. Decorate Cinco de Mayo cookies at Mediterranean Bar & Grill

The Mediterranean Bar & Grill, 983 County St., Taunton, is teaming up with Katie’s Kookies for a cookie decorating event on Wednesday, May 3, at 6 p.m. Learn how to decorate sugar cookies in a two-hour, Cinco de Mayo-themed class, covering the basics. Each baker will get four cookies, four icing colors, and all the tools needed for the class. The cookies and icing will already be made. Spring cocktails at Lorenzo’s

Stop by Lorenzo’s, 500 W. Grove St., Middleboro, where you can enjoy one of their spring cocktails right now. There’s “Sunny Days,” with Captain Morgan, Malibu, melon liqueur, and orange and pineapple juice. How about the “Raspberry Delight”: Grey Goose orange vodka, Chambord, and cranberry juice, garnished with lime. Or have yourself a “Spring Fling,” with Tito’s, watermelon pucker, and Sprite, garnished with lime. Just to name a few.
