Springfield native Jesse Bray to seek his soulmate on Peacock's 'Love Island USA'

Summer is the season of love, and good thing it is in the air just in time for the season four premiere of "Love Island USA."

This is the first season of "Love Island USA" to air exclusively on Peacock. In May, Love Island USA's Twitter account revealed the switch from CBS to Peacock because of the "explicit nature of the show."

Also for the first time this season, Peacock will be airing six episodes a week. That is only one less than the UK "Love Island," which airs daily, and one more than the first three seasons of USA aired per week on CBS.

There also will be a new host. Actress Sarah Hyland, known from ABC's "Modern Family," will be replacing Arielle Vandenberg. Additionally, the narrator from the British adaptation of the show, Iain Stirling, will be doing the voiceover narration this season.

Peacock revealed the starting cast of men ready to turn up the heat this summer.

Among the cast is Springfield, Ohio, native Jesse Bray, 27, who has since relocated to Houston, Texas, where he works for a courier service.

Bray is one of five initial men who will be entering the villa to live with five women in hopes of finding their soulmate.

They will then "couple up" with someone on the island, but they can always choose someone else at the recoupling ceremonies throughout the summer.

However, the "Love Island" series never shies away from a twist like late arrivals to the villa breaking up existing couples.

People Magazine reports that this season, the islanders will be housed in a new villa off the coast of California.
