Now that you’ve washed down the rest of your Sprite Cranberry from the holidays, there’s a new flavor hitting stores in February. Sprite Ginger is among the first new sodas coming to shelves this year!

A PR rep confirmed to Best Products that Sprite Ginger will first become available in a limited number of New York City stores, although it’s unknown which ones or how many just yet. Then, there will be a nationwide roll-out expected for mid- to late-February.

As far as flavor goes, Sprite’s classic lemon-lime taste will be combined with a hint of ginger flavor. Three billboards in NYC are advertising the new flavor, and people already have their thoughts about it. Many are wondering the soda will taste like ginger ale. Others are thinking that this might be the new go-to drink when you have an upset stomach.

Luckily, we don’t have to wait long to get our hands on Sprite Ginger, so you can judge the taste for yourself soon enough!
