Sprouts Farmers Market announces hiring, opening date for new Port St. Lucie grocery story

PORT ST. LUCIE — The area's latest grocery and health food store is almost complete.

The long-awaited Sprouts Farmers Market in Port St. Lucie is expected to open April 15, said spokesperson Kalia Pang. The store is at 1798 St. Lucie West Blvd., just east of the Interstate 95 exit near the Peacock Boulevard intersection.

The Phoenix-based retailer had planned to open in fall 2021, but faced construction setbacks and supply chain issues caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Sprouts features a large produce section in the center of the store and a deli with prepared entrees and side dishes, butcher shop and fish market.
