Considering that sentiment, we have been working on the spring issue of At Home Places, which is overflowing with ideas from local businesses to assure your plans come true.

The designers at La Rouge Home & Design explain that the top trend in home décor this year is bringing the outdoors inside. From the popularity of earthy colors to the use of organic materials, the designers’ insights are sure to help you add an updated look to your home.

An increasing number of homeowners are turning to propane for energy needs, and reporter Linda Harkcom talked with several local experts on the types of uses and what homeowners can expect.

Does your HVAC system need a checkup? How are you supposed to know? Harkcom provides local experts’ suggestions on cleaning, maintenance and replacement.
