The crimes occurred between June 1, 2021, and June 1, 2022. Prosecutors said the victim, who was less than 12 at the time, told her mother about the abuse. They met with a forensic interview at the Children’s Advocacy Center and the victim recounted the crimes. A medical exam confirmed physical trauma and child sexual abuse.
