St. Augustine hosts Light Up the Night Fireworks Show to celebrate the new year

Join the City of St. Augustine Beach for a spectacular fireworks show on December 31, 2022. The fireworks display is the final event in the city’s 2022 Light Up the BEACH! holiday season.

The fireworks are shot off the St. Johns County Pier (350 A1A Beach Blvd.) in St. Augustine Beach, but there are multiple viewing locations to enjoy the show.

This year, the city is working with radio station WSOS 103.9 FM to broadcast music along with the fireworks. For those viewing the Fireworks from locations other than St. Johns County Pier Park, tune into WSOS 103.9FM and listen live while you watch the show.

Important Information:

Fireworks begin at 8:30 P.M. - show runs for 20 minutes

Park and shuttle service will be available at the Anastasia Baptist Church. Shuttle service will run from 5pm to 10pm. The shuttle will drop off at three locations along A1A Beach Blvd:

A Street

10th Street

St. Augustine Beach Pier Park

Park and Walk locations:

St. Augustine Beach Pier Park (parking is extremely limited)

St. Augustine Beach City Hall

Ron Parker Park

Anastasia Square parking lot on the Southwest side close to Pope Road. Please do not park in the Amici’s Restaurant area.

Viewing Areas

St. Augustine Beach Pier Park (Volleyball court area, Splash Park) Reminder: Due to erosion, there is no beach access from Pier Park

Driving Beach access at “A” Street beach ramp

Pedestrian Beach Access from 10th Street South to A Street

Pedestrian Beach Access on 16th Street

There will be signs at Pier Park and along A1A Beach Blvd indicating viewing areas. There will also be No Beach Access signs in areas not accessible due to the recent storms, including beach access from Pier Park, and 12th through 15th Streets.
