These St. Charles Restaurants Are Now Open For Outdoor Dining
ST. CHARLES, IL — More than a dozen St. Charles restaurants opened outdoor seating areas Friday, taking full advantage of loosened restrictions to get back to business. The entire state moved into phase 3 of the Restore Illinois reopening plan Friday, allowing restaurants and bars to reopen with safety precautions.
St. Charles Mayor Signs Order To Boost Outdoor Restaurant Seating
Under an executive order signed Wednesday by St. Charles Mayor Raymond Rogina, restaurants will be allowed to use public sidewalks and up to half of their parking areas to create space for socially distanced outdoor dining areas. Restaurants must close their outdoor dining areas by 10 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday, and by 11 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, the order states.
