St. Cloud woman dies following Pequot Lakes crash Saturday

A St. Cloud woman has died and two passengers suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash in Pequot Lakes Saturday morning.

The woman who died was identified as Anita Elaine Haller, 88, of St. Cloud. Haller was headed east on Crow Wing County Road 107 in Pequot Lakes and crossing Minnesota Highway 371 in a 2001 Chrysler Sebring at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday when a 2012 Dodge Caravan headed north on Highway 371 hit the Sebring.

Two passengers were flown to Duluth with life-threatening injuries: a 21-year-old Phoenix, Arizona, resident riding in the Sebring and a 40-year-old Belcourt, North Dakota, resident riding in the Caravan. The driver of the Caravan was taken to the hospital in Brainerd with non life-threatening injuries, and another Caravan passenger was not injured.
