A third man is now accusing Chicago's Father Michael Pfleger of inappropriate sexual behavior dating back decades.
- Saint Sabina is using money to pressure the archdiocese to move quickly in its investigation into abuse allegations against Father Michael Pfleger. The parish will withhold its monthly assessment payment to the archdiocese until the investigation is finished. The church and school pay about $100,000 a month.
- This situation has strained our finances and jeopardized our ability to serve. We are asking the parishioners to continue to support our church.
- Father Pfleger stepped away from the church in January at the request of Cardinal Cupich. Pfleger is accused of abusing two brothers more than 40 years ago and he denies any wrongdoing.
