One of the top wide receivers in Broward County is taking a look at more colleges.

St. Thomas Aquinas senior Camden Brown decommitted from Pittsburgh on Wednesday night, announcing his decision on Twitter.

“First and foremost I would love to thank Coach (Charlie) Partridge and Coach (Brennan) Marion for recruiting me and building such amazing (bonds) with me and after a long conversation with my family I decided to (decomit) from Pittsburgh University,” Brown wrote.

Brown had been committed to the Panthers since June 27, but he has seen his recruitment pick up in recent months. He received an offer from West Virginia on Oct. 12, and Florida State offered him a scholarship on Oct. 19. In November, he received offers from Arizona and South Carolina, and he took an official visit to FSU.

Brown has been the Raiders’ top wide receiver this season. He leads the team with 483 receiving yards and seven touchdown receptions.

The St. Thomas Aquinas senior is rated a three-star prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is listed as the No. 86 wide receiver and No. 615 player in the 2022 class.
