Stabbing reported at Northeast Side hotel, Columbus police say one woman injured

Columbus police are investigating an apparent stabbing at a Northeast Side hotel after a man and a woman walked into an urgent care Friday morning.

Police received a call about 7:30 a.m. and learned that the stabbing happened at the Aloft Columbus Easton hotel in the 4100 block of Brighton Rose Way.

Police said a man and the injured woman walked into the WellNow Urgent Care in the 2800 block of Stelzer Road. She was eventually transferred to Mount Carmel East Hospital for treatment.

The man was covered in blood but it appeared he suffered no injuries.

Police released no other details about the ongoing investigation, including whether investigators have any suspects, or an update on the woman's condition.
