Staley High School to replace Norcross (Georgia) in 2023 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions

Springfield Public Schools announced Monday that Staley High School out of North Kansas City has been added to the 2023 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions.

Staley replaces Norcross (Georgia) in the field after "unforeseen roster changes," according to the school district.

The Falcons are coming off a 27-5 season that ended with a third-place finish in Class 6. The team lost by 10 to Nixa in the state semifinals.

Staley features Kayden Fish who has risen in recent weeks as one of the top recruits in the midwest. The 6-foot-6 power forward is set to announce his college decision on Monday night with schools including Iowa State, Boston College, Northern Iowa and Missouri State among his many offers. He's played summer ball with Mokan Elite which is regarded as one of the top AAU programs in the country.
