ESPN broadcasters Chris "The Bear" Fallica and "Stanford" Steve Coughlin made college football predictions on their podcast "Stanford Steve & The Bear."

One of the games they looked at was the Southeastern Conference Championship game between Alabama and the Georgia Bulldogs football teams. The game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. CT/4 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Alabama, ranked No. 2 in the USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, enters the matchup 11-1 overall. The No. 1-ranked UGA Bulldogs come into the game 12-0 overall.

Chris "The Bear" Fallica picked Alabama to cover a 6.5-point spread.

"Stanford" Steve Coughlin picked Georgia to win, but Alabama to cover a 6.5-point spread.

"I think Georgia wins the game," Coughlin said. "I'll take the points. I'm going to buy it to seven (points). I just like the capability of Alabama's offense against that Georgia defense. Listen, Georgia's going to win the majority of the time, but I think they have the goods to keep it close. I think they're going to put pressure on Georgia's corners that they haven't even come close to seeing all year. And they'll set that stuff up by starting off with some quick game. They'll have (Alabama wide receiver) Jameson (Williams) back after the first-half targeting call (against Auburn). ... I do think (Alabama quarterback) Bryce Young is that good, and I think Alabama's defense will bring something to the table and show up and keep Georgia at bay."

"I think it (the betting line) is an overreaction to last week's game," Fallica said. "It's still Alabama and the talent that they still have there is insane. They survived a game they should have lost. (Auburn head coach) Bryan Harsin and (Auburn running back) Tank Bigsby kind of botched the end of the game. But Alabama still had to make the play there to get the game to overtime, and they did."

Alabama defeated Auburn 24-22 in four overtimes on Saturday, Nov. 27.
