Here are Stanislaus County’s best spots to watch San Francisco 49ers play in Super Bowl

Planning to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday?

If you don’t want to stay home to see the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas, several bars and restaurants from Modesto to Oakdale are hosting Super Bowl LVIII watch parties for the public to enjoy.

Local restaurants and caterers are offering football-themed meal deals for fans, and there are plenty of ways to watch or listen to the big game from the comfort of your couch.

Here’s how you can watch the big game this weekend.

When is the Super Bowl?

The Super Bowl will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, near Las Vegas.

Where are Super Bowl watch parties in Stanislaus County

You can start your day on Sunday at the Boys & Girls Club of Stanislaus County’s Super Bowl Pre-Party Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.

Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 700 Tioga Drive, Hanger 1-5, in Modesto. It includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, a no-host mimosa and bloody mary bar. Tickets can be purchased online.

Doors for Sunday’s Super Bowl event at Modesto Elks Lodge No. 1282, 645 Charity Way in Modesto, open at 1 p.m.

Pre-game activities include corn hole, Connect Four and giant Jenga. Hot dogs, nachos and chili will be provided by the lodge and attendees are asked to bring their favorite appetizer or side dish. The event is free for members and $5 for non-members.

Rancho Fresco Cantina & Nightclub, 950 10th St. in Modesto, will be broadcasting the game on its “huge LED screen,” according to its Facebook page.

The establishment will have a Super Bowl special including sliders, onion rings, asada fries, chicken wings and a domestic beer bucket for $70.

Ryderz Restaurant & Lounge, 875 E F St. in Oakdale, is hosting a Super Bowl party on Sunday. The owner, Ramon, will be barbecuing and “just asks that you bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert,” according to the restaurant’s Facebook event.

Drink specials include $15 domestic beer buckets, $20 premium beer buckets, $25 High Noon or White Claw buckets and $7 Tic Tac shots.

108 Sports Lounge, 3119 Atchison St. in Riverbank, is “pulling out all the stops” for the Super Bowl with bottle service, drink specials, food and more, according to its Instagram account. Reservations can be made at 209-225-9574.
