Stanislaus County school districts want more control over mask-wearing guidelines

Modesto City School District and the Turlock Unified School District are pushing back against the California Department of Public Health's current guidelines, which make it mandatory to wear masks while indoors while on school campuses. The two districts are asking the state to consider allowing mask guidelines to be made on the local level. Parents, students and teachers within Turlock Unified said they would like this change to happen. See more in the video above.
