All-Star Celtic Jaylen Brown questionable for tilt with Clippers Tuesday

Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jaylen Brown has been listed as questionable for the team’s Tuesday night game against the Los Angeles Clippers at TD Garden with left knee soreness.

That soreness is a result of his ongoing issues this season with tendonitis in the joint, which caused him to sit out Sunday evening’s win against the Washington Wizards as well. Revealed to be a chronic problem for the Georgia native on local sports radio earlier in the month of February by team president Danny Ainge, Brown has been called “day-by-day” with regards to his knee by head coach Brad Stevens in a recent pre-game interview.

The Cal-Berkeley product would join veteran guard Marcus Smart (calf tear) and second-year wing Romeo Langford (wrist surgery rehabilitation) on the injured list for the contest if he does sit out the game, the latter player rumored by teammate Daniel Theis to be close to a return.
