‘Star Wars’ mansion listed for $11.5 million in Florida captivates Zillow Gone Wild
An elaborate mansion listed for $11.5 million in Kissimmee, Florida has a hidden secret on the third level that will attract both young and and old Jedi warriors, as well as spark the imagination of those on a popular Facebook page.
The 15-bedroom, 19 bathroom home spread out over 17,694 square feet has a magical, yet elegant touch in all of the features, but especially on a loft with a “Star Wars” theme — a loft that includes a kids theater and an area for video games.
“However be aware you might be watched by Darth Vader himself!” the listing on Zillow jokes. “Dreams do come true when it is time to go to bed with two amazing kid-friendly THEMED bunk bed rooms that sleep up to 12! The fun doesn’t end there, this house is specially equipped with a whole house LASER TAG for everyone to play!!”
Other high-end features in the mansion include a indoor basketball court, golf simulator, arcade, two full-length bowling alleys, in-home spa and sauna rooms and more.
The home captured the attention of the Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild, and people either fell in love with the mansion, or were a little thrown off by it. And, of course, there were tons of “Star Wars” jokes.
“How many people live here!?!” one person asked. “Is this a cult house? With all them beds, I wonder if they thought they could drink the koolaid and fly *into* Star Wars.”
“This looks less like a house and more like a high end themed La Quinta,” another observed.
“Buying an extended adolescence you are,” another joked.
“I’m a giant Star Wars nerd and I love this,” one fan said. “Well, maybe not the creepy Rey mannequin. But the rest can stay!”
“I think if I were to win the lotto, I would buy this house without thinking twice,” another exclaimed. “And forget keeping it an AirB&B, I would keep it to myself!”
“This would be such a great air B&B it’s near Disney World,” another said. “Families that are rich enough renting it for a couple weeks to go to the parks.”
“Missed opportunity not putting a cantina bar in!” one person observed.
“It’s all fun and games until you wake up to use the bathroom at night and forget about the droids creeping around,” another said. “Guess you won’t need a bathroom anymore.”
“Tell me you are a Star Wars fan without telling me,” another joked.
