Starbuck, Minnesota, motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in crash

, Minnesota, man suffered life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle Thursday in

Pope County

.

Jeffrey Keith Moen, 66, was transported to Glacial Ridge Hospital in

Glenwood

for treatment of what were described as life-=threatening injuries.

According to the

Minnesota State Patrol

's accident report, Moen was driving a 2009 Harley-Davidson northbound on Minnesota Highway 29. A Dodge Grand Caravan was driving westbound on Pope County Road 28, and the two vehicle collided in the intersection north of Glenwood.

According to the accident report, Moen was not wearing a helmet. It is unknown if alcohol was a factor.

The driver of the minivan, 88-year-old Joseph Benedict Rueter, of Sauk Centre, was not injured. His passenger, 85-year-old Joann Elizabeth Hennech, also from Sauk Centre, wasn't injured. Both were wearing seat belts and alcohol is not a factor for either party.

The crash was reported around 3:43 p.m. Thursday. Road conditions were reported as dry.

Assisting the State Patrol at the scene were the Pope County Sheriff's Office, Glenwood Police Department, Villard Fire Department and Glacial Ridge Ambulance.
