Yes! Starbucks kicked off its 2023 Christmas season on Thursday, November 2. And there’s a new drink on the menu this year, along with returning favorites.

Starbucks will be serving up its hot drinks in its new collection of holiday cups, which released Thursday, November 2 with the seasonal menu. The reusable, plastic red cups that the store gives out with every order on one day in November each year are not here yet. A date has yet to be announced for Starbucks' annual free red cup day 2023.

Starbucks is releasing two versions of one new drink on its holiday menu this year. The new Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai (which is also available hot) has gingerbread flavoring, mixed with chai and oat milk, over ice or steamed.

You can also get a hot Oleato Gingerbread Oatmilk Latte at Starbucks stores where Oleato is served. This drink is also flavored with gingerbread and mixed with oat milk, but is paired with espresso instead of chai.

Peppermint Mocha-flavored drinks, the Caramel Brulée Latte, the Chestnut Praline Latte and the Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte will all be returning to this year’s holiday menu.

You can pair your gingerbread drink with a slice of iced gingerbread loaf or other seasonal snacks, like a peppermint brownie cake pop, a cranberry blondie cake bar, a shortbread snowman cookie or a sugar plum cheese danish.

Yes! Starbucks released 12 new tumblers, mugs, bottles and cups for the 2023 holiday season. And almost everything has a shiny or iridescent sheen to it with a subtle holiday flare, like the Iridescent Winter White and Poinsettia Red Prism cold drink cups.

If you're not ready to skip over Thanksgiving to the most wonderful time of the year, don't worry. Starbucks’ well-loved fall-flavored Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) will be available as long as stores still have the supplies to make it, which could be as early as next month or as late as the new year.
