Starbucks' New Pennywise Frappuccino Is Equal Parts Terrifying and Delicious
ICYMI, a new (and equally terrifying) IT film has hit theaters. And because Starbucks rarely misses an opportunity to get in on the pop culture action, they've created a Pennywise-inspired Frappuccino that's swirled with a strawberry "blood" puree. Yum?
The limited-edition Frapp, which actually made its initial debut back in 2017 (AKA when the first remake premiered), isn't technically on the menu. But by the looks of our Instagram feed it's everywhere, and according to Best Products, it's also simple to make. The drink features a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino base with that strawberry puree. If you're feeling wild, you can also blend in a vanilla scone. For once, your barista might not hate you for ordering off the secret menu.
Though not every location is advertising this drink, we have spotted a few signs touting the addition explaining, "Get IT. Before IT floats away." One employee even took a little creative license with the cup, sketching her own (and may I say, scary-accurate) Pennywise drawing over the Starbucks logo. She offered a little advice too, adding, "PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS AS THE IT FRAPPUCCINO, your barista will likely NOT know what that is. Order a Vanilla bean frappuccino with strawberry purée on top!"

It should come as a surprise to absolutely no one, but fans are super into the Frapp. "Thank you @starbucks for the super secret #itfrappuccino Just in time for Halloween! It’s bloody delish!!!" one wrote. "Got my IT Frappuccino for my cheat day today!" another added.
