Starbucks rolling out Oleato beverages at all U.S. stores this week

(KSWB) — Would you try olive oil in your coffee? Now is your chance, as Starbucks is rolling out its new Oleato drinks in the United States and Canada starting Tuesday, Jan. 30.

The new olive oil beverages debuted in February 2023 at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milan and in Starbucks stores in Italy. Now, it is available at stores in the U.S., Canada, London, Paris, Osaka and Tokyo.

Starting Jan. 30, 2024, Starbucks Oleato drinks will be available at all stores across the United States and Canada.

The new Oleato drinks include:

  • Oleato Golden Foam Iced Shaken Espresso with Toffeenut

    • Starbucks Blonde espresso with toffeenut flavor and oatmilk, topped with Oleato Golden Foam

  • Oleato Caffè Latte with Oatmilk

    • Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast with oatmilk, infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil

  • Oleato Golden Foam

    • Vanilla sweet cream infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil

Customers can also customize their favorite drink by adding Oleato Golden Foam.

The origin of Oleato at Starbucks began in Sicily when Starbucks founder Howard Schultz was introduced to the daily Mediterranean custom of having a spoonful of olive oil, as detailed in Starbucks Stories. He then had the idea to try them together.

The rollout of the olive oil infused coffees will mark the first time that Oleato beverages are available in San Diego. Grab yours today!

At the start of 2024, Starbucks became the first national coffee retailer to accept personal reusable cups for drive-thru and mobile orders. The coffee chain also recently debuted its winter menu with the new Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, Pistachio Latte, Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes and Vanilla Bean Custard Danish.
