Starbucks Sign Toppled, Buildings Damaged in Galveston by Storm Nicholas

Storm Nicholas damaged buildings and signs in Galveston, Texas, as it made landfall on the Matagorda Peninsula on Tuesday, September 14, as a Category 1 hurricane.

Nicholas has since been downgraded to a tropical depression. The storm was expected to move eastward and bring heavy rain to parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
