Starbucks, Walgreens, 7-Eleven, and More Will Be Open on Christmas Day
Christmas morning has arrived and you're feeling pretty jolly until BAM... you remember that you forgot to wrap your cousins' presents. OK, remain calm. You can just go to Target and pick—wait, no... all Target stores are closed on Christmas Day. Ahhh. Where will you get your wrapping paper now? And you should probably pick up batteries so the kiddos can power up their new toys. Also, coffee anyone? S.O.S.
Don't fret! You have options to accommodate all of those needs. You can even put the oven mitts down and just pick up a whole holiday dinner on Christmas Day! While the majority of retailers shut their doors for Christmas, a select few do remain open on December 25 to fulfill all your last-minute needs, or just your holiday coffee addiction. 💁♀️ I mean, if you're going to slurp down a caffeinated brew on Christmas, it ought to be a Gingerbread Latte, right?
Here are all the drug stores, quickie marts, and fast-food restaurants that are open on Christmas Day 2019.
7-Eleven: Most 7-Eleven locations are already open 24/7 and will continue to honor those hours on Christmas Day. Need a last-minute stocking stuffer? 7-Eleven is selling adorable Funko Frozen 2 toys, and pepperminty cookie stirrers to really sweeten up that morning coffee—check those out here.
Boston Market: Celebrate the holiday with helpings of hand-carved ham, sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese and more. Select Boston Market locations will stay open on December 25 where customers can either dine-in or pick up a feast to bring home. View participating restaurants here.
Cumberland Farms: All hail gas station convenience stores! Thank you for your service. Cumberland Farms locations that are open 24 hours on the regular will continue to be so come December 25. Plus, you can get a free treat when you buy one of these items.
CVS: Select CVS Pharmacy stores will be open until 8pm and select pharmacies will be open until 6pm. Twenty-four-hour stores will still be open 24 hours. For specific locations and hours, check here.
Denny's: Not only are all Denny's locations open on Christmas Day so you can indulge in some festive fare like a Cinnamon Roll Pancake Breakfast, but you can also order a complete holiday dinner to your doorstep from the chain restaurant. Denny's New Turkey & Dressing Dinner Pack, available to order here and through the Denny's app, features four generous servings of the Turkey & Dressing Dinner along with two sides, bread and full serving ware. Denny's asks that you order this meal at least 24 hours in advance.
Duane Reade: All 24/7 stores and pharmacies will continue to stay open. Duane Reade locations that aren't open 24 hours a day will follow a holiday schedule, usually with hours from 9am to 6pm. Pharmacy hours vary per location.
Dunkin': If you're gifting a loved one a Peppermint Mocha candle from their new collab with Homesick Candles, you might as bring home some fresh donuts to go with it. Or just hit up the chain for your usual cup of joe. Select Dunkin' location will be open—check your local shop's hours here.
Rite Aid: Select locations will stay open on Christmas Day. Check them out here.

Stop & Shop: New York City, Long Island and New Jersey Stop & Shop stores will be open until 6 pm. All other New York State locations will be closed.
Walgreens: Walgreens stores that regularly operate 24/7 will continue to do so on Christmas. Those that don't will have reduced hours on Christmas Day, typically from 8am. to 6pm. Call ahead for pharmacy hours.
Wawa: Get your gas, coffee, and snag one of those festive doughnuts from the display case. All Wawa locations will be open on Christmas Day, although some may follow special holiday hours depending on area.
