What: Homemade cookies for sale, on the honor system, for $10 per dozen.

The story: A pair of yard signs along East Nassau Street announce that Eaton's Own famous cookies are available — just before drivers come upon a roofed table that holds dozens of them.
Signs at the unmanned stand ask buyers to place money in a slot. "Your honesty keeps this stand open." Buyers are welcome to open containers for a closer look at available varieties, but are reminded to leave bins behind.
For those who want to know more, a scannable code at the site directs you to the Eaton's Own Facebook page, "Professional home baker of famous delicious cookies in East Canton, Ohio."
