Stark County artist Megan Cash designs holiday card for Jason Kelce's family

A Stark County graphic designer and artist is enjoying a major thrill after Jason and Kylie Kelce selected her work for their family's featured holiday greeting card.

Jason is the Philadelphia Eagles' standout center, a Super Bowl champ, and one of People magazine's Sexiest Men of the Year 2023. His brother, Travis, is a Super Bowl champ, Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Taylor Swift's beau.

The pair co-host a podcast, "New Heights," a nod to their Ohio and Cleveland Heights roots.

Jason and Kylie Kelce teamed up with online retailer Minted to create the holiday card, with artist and designer Megan Cash of Plain Township contributing the "Madras" design.

"I'm so honored that the Kelce family chose my design and I absolutely love how Minted helped them to edit the green to match the Philadelphia Eagles," said Cash, a 2006 graduate of Hoover High School. "Being a designer and illustrator can be very challenging at times, but moments like this make all of the hard work worth it."

Her work is even mentioned in a People magazine feature on the holiday card.

Who is artist and designer Megan Cash?

Cash said she’s always loved art. All throughout school, she was immersed in the arts — her grandparents' loved painting and growing up her home was always filled with art supplies that inspired creativity.

Initially she majored in photography at Kent State University, eventually switching to graphic design. In 2013, Cash graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts in visual communication design.

By day, she works on the communications team at the J.M. Smucker Co. in Orrville.

Cash dives into her artistic passion at night and weekends, creating unique pieces seen on Minted, where she has 91 customizable items and has won 75 Minted awards.

Some of Cash's designs even grace the shelves of Target.

Who chose the Jason Kelce family holiday card?

Kylie Kelce spearheaded the selection process for their family's card, which features their daughters Bennett, 8 months, Elliotte, 2, and Wyatt, 3. The front of the card features a festive plaid with a fun modern twist.

After choosing Cash's design, Kylie Kelce collaborated with an in-house design associate to tweak the colors to match the Eagles' signature hue of green. The back of the card features additional Kelce family photos and a personal holiday message.

Kylie Kelce told People magazine she had a great time getting her family together for the photo shoot.

"For Jason and I, it's definitely a joint effort to wrangle our children. There's all hands going out to grab whoever we can, to make sure that we can keep them as close as possible," she told the magazine. "We had a few photos this year with the dogs which just adds a whole new level of challenge."
