A Wilmot woman won a $1 million scratch-off prize through the Ohio Lottery.

Chandra Potschner purchased two tickets for the Billion game, which costs $50 a ticket. The last ticket was a winner revealing the $1 million annuity second-tier prize, the lottery said.The prize is paid as $50,000 a year for 20 years before taxes. Potschner chose the $500,000 cash option instead and will receive about $360,000 after federal and state tax withholdings.

She purchased her winning ticket at Speedway at 4230 Erie Ave. SW in Perry Township. She plans to invest her winnings, the lottery said.

Billion offers a top prize of $1 million a year for 20 years. As of Monday, the Ohio Lottery reported that 83 second-tier prizes remain for the Billion game.

The lottery said Potschner's odds of winning the prize were 1 in 235,636.
