Stars of the Day: Hall-Rosa scores 20 for Bridgewater-Raynham girls basketball
NEEDHAM — Bridgewater-Raynham girls basketball kept it close with Needham, but fell just short in the end, 49-46.
The Trojans suffered a narrow non-league loss on the road to the Rockets and are now 6-2 on the season.
Sophomore Natalia Hall-Rosa led the way for B-R with 20 points, six rebounds and three steals while senior Dana Possick had eight points, six rebounds and three steals.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Hingham 74, Bridgewater-Raynham 62
The Trojans fell at home in non-league action to the Harbormen and are now 6-3 overall.
Junior Luke Barry led the B-R offense with 13 points while freshmen Windston Legentus and Timmy Bollin both had 11.
HOCKEY
Somerset Berkley 4, Taunton 1
The Tigers fell on the road to the Raiders in non-league action at the Driscoll Arena and are now 2-4-1 on the season.
Senior forward Michael Lucier scored the lone goal for Taunton, while freshman goalie Cam Tomaszycki made 29 saves in net.
GYMNASTICS
Sharon 127, Taunton 124
The Tigers narrowly fell to the Eagles in Hockomock League action at Arnolds Gymnastics and are now 0-3 on the season.
