Have you stashed Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons? You can redeem them now at Boscov's, Big Lots

Have you been saving up those popular Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons, only to find the store in your area has closed?

That's the case for Salisbury and Ocean City residents who have recently lost their local BB&B stores, but now Boscov's has stepped in with its own offer to capitalize on the situation.

Boscov's, which has a store at The Centre at Salisbury mall, is now offering $10 off each purchase of $50 or more in exchange for a BB&B coupon, with one coupon being accepted for each Boscov's purchase.

Discount retailer Big Lots, which has a store in Fruitland, is also accepting BB&B coupons. The store is offering 20% of your entire purchase of $50 or more.

They’ll accept the Bed Bath & Beyond coupons through May 7, a press release said.

“For anyone who has missed their last opportunity to redeem one of these coupons, Big Lots is opening our doors to help you save on your entire purchase,” said Big Lots President and CEO Bruce Thorn.

Here's more about the big picture with what's happening to BB&B.

Bed, Bath & Beyond had previously already closed its Salisbury store at 2653 North Salisbury Blvd.

Bed, Bath & Beyond stops accepting its own coupons

Bed Bath & Beyond stopped accepting coupons as of Wednesday, when store closing sales kicked off, according to the company's website. (It's unclear how long the sales will last.)

The home goods chain filed for bankruptcy protection Sunday after failed turnaround efforts and began its wind down process while still looking for a buyer for all or some of its businesses.

The company's 360 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and 120 buybuy BABY locations will remain open and customers can continue shopping online, as the company begins to close the business.
