"At the moment, she has been dismissed from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in accordance with the provisions of the legislation on military duty and military service," Demchenko said.

“The dismissal took place at the end of January. Once again, during a full-scale war, thousands of border guards are defending the country and dying for it, selflessly ensuring the protection of the border in no less threatening areas, so I really hope that our guys and girls will not have their actions compared with those of individual service members who pay more attention to their personal lives and boast about it.”

On her Facebook page, Plantovska responded to reports of her dismissal and called for Ukrainians to "stopping inciting hatred within the country."

In early 2023, the former officer posted photos of how she celebrated New Year in Paris. Her posts were published on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 as Ukrainian cities were attacked by Russian missiles and Iranian flying bomb drones.

The photos of her private life and luxurious living conditions caused a backlash among Ukrainians back home.

Reacting to comments on the photos, Plantovska invited her readers to "be kinder and more genial in 2023," and to "be happy for thy neighbors without hatred, without anger, without envy" — that way, "2023 will bring you peace of mind and happiness."

"With Ukraine in my heart!” the former press officer wrote.

Recently, the ex-servicewoman also posted new photos on her Facebook page and received another round of hate from Ukrainian social media users. In the comments, people were outraged that the press officer continued to post photos of her luxurious lifestyle.

In response, Plantovska said that they were just "envious people who don't have money themselves and count other people's (money)."
