State College man sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexual relationship with teenage girl
A State College man was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for repeatedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl and soliciting her to send him sexually explicit images.
Kristopher R. Hall, 46, was also sentenced by federal Judge Jennifer P. Wilson to 20 years of supervision once he’s released from prison. Wilson recommended he be incarcerated at a federal prison in either Ohio or Virginia.
Hall also solicited and received sexually explicit images from three other girls whose ages ranged from 11 to 15, a federal prosecutor wrote in a document sent to Wilson.
He pleaded guilty in January to one count of attempted production of images containing the sexual exploitation of a child. Four charges were dropped.
A licensed professional counselor who has a doctorate in psychology concluded Hall has a “below average” risk of re-offending, but also wrote Hall has a “long-standing pornography addiction that needs to be addressed as this is a dynamic risk factor for reoffending.”
Messages left with defense lawyers Steve Trialonas and Brian W. Perry were not immediately returned.
Hall is incarcerated at the Dauphin County Prison. He pleaded guilty in November to one felony count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of someone younger than 16 in Cumberland County.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced in that case Tuesday.
