All-State football teams are out. See who made the cut in classes AA and A

The 2022 All-State football teams are complete as the New York State Sportswriters Association revealed the selections for Classes AA and A this week.

Last week, the NYSSWA released the All-State picks for Classes B, C, D and 8-man.

In Class AA, 13 Section V players were named All-State and in Class A, 12 Section V players were honored, including Hilton lineman Karl Kuhns, who was named to the first team defense.

Class AA

Co-Players of the Year: OL/DL Rashad Perry (Bennett-Section VI) and QB Dante Torres (St. Anthony’s-CHS).

Second team offense

Jackson Green (Pittsford end)

Third team defense

Chris Jean (UPrep defensive back).

Fourth team offense

Darius Poles (UPrep end), John Harding (McQuad all-purpose).

Casey Keohane (Victor linebacker).

Co-Players of the Year: QB Matt Fitzsimons (Somers-I) and AP/RB/DB Steve Finnell (Garden City-VIII).
