State issues Silver Alert for missing Gaston County man
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Edgar Islas Mireles.
Mireles is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Mireles, 44, is described as being Hispanic, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 210 pounds. He has short black hair with brown eyes.
He was last seen at 415 Omega Drive, Gastonia. He may be traveling in a gray 2006 Ford Mustang convertible, North Carolina license plate TKT 1081convertible, headed toward Pasco County, Florida.
The state did not provide a photograph of Mireles.
