New state law bans sale, receipt of unregistered 'ghost guns'

A new state law banning the sale, receipt and transfer of ghost guns goes into effect Wednesday in Maryland. Ghost guns are homemade. They are sold in kits, usually found online and don't have serial numbers. Law enforcement and community activists said they believe the ban will save lives. According to supporters, the new law doesn't ban homemade firearms built from online kits, it treats them like any other regulated gun.
