- New for you at 7:00, some good news for your next carry out order. A bill right now on the governor's desk would permanently allow cocktails to go and beer be delivered to your home. So it was a temporary convenience, you may remember, granted during lockdown, but then it was taken up by the General Assembly. And under this bill, alcohol for carry out and delivery will be allowed for at least the next two years. If the bill is not signed, businesses will have to end these services once the governor lifts the current state of emergency.
