State patrol seeking witnesses to Everett hit-and-run

Washington State Patrol is seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run crash that injured one person in Everett on Wednesday, WSP announced Thursday.

In a news release, WSP says that evidence from the scene suggests the vehicle involved was a 2013-2018 white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with a broken passenger side headlight and damaged passenger side front bumper.

According to WSP, the Toyota was entering southbound Interstate 5 via the Broadway Street onramp in Everett just after 9:30 p.m.

The driver of the Toyota struck a person who was walking in the roadway of the onramp.

Detectives are trying to gain more information regarding the person who was struck and the Toyota pickup. The victim is believed to be in his thirties to forties, and was wearing dark colored clothing and jeans at the time of the crash.
