State police: 2 drivers killed in 2-vehicle crash Saturday in the Town of Bath

Two people are dead following a two-vehicle crash late Saturday morning in the Steuben County Town of Bath.

The crash took place around 10:20 a.m. Saturday on county Route 11 (Nash Road), according to New York state Police at Bath.

State police investigators say a northbound vehicle operated by Brandi White, 39, of Bath, crossed into the southbound lane, striking another vehicle head on.

White was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The operator of the southbound vehicle, Jordan Smith, 30, of Knoxville, Pennsylvania, was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre in critical condition. He died from his injuries Saturday night, state police said.

The investigation into the crash is continuing. State police were assisted at the scene by the Bath Fire Department and Bath Ambulance.
