State police charge three in sexual assault of a dog in York County

State police have charged three people in a sexual assault on a dog that troopers uncovered while investigating another crime.

Earlier this month, state police charged 38-year-old Ryan Peters and 25-year-old Jadzia Martin of Codorus Township in the alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in York County. Authorities allege the assault happened on June 29 during a cookout at the home.

Search warrant uncovers video of sexual assault on a dog

While investigating the alleged assault, troopers executed a search warrant at a home in the 2500 block of Buffalo Valley Road and seized a micro SD digital storage device for a Samsung Pro 256 in a bedroom, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

State police reviewed the video and found that Peters and 36-year-old Britney Martin of Dallastown engaged in sexual intercourse with a dog, the affidavit states.

State police allege Jadzia Martin, 25, conspired in the sexual assault, affidavit states.

Time stamps indicate the assault happened on July 9, the affidavit states.

State police file charges in animal cruelty case

Peters has been charged with producing/presenting/directing an obscene performance, sexual intercourse with an animal and cruelty to animals.

He was committed to York County Prison earlier this month in connection with the assault of the teenager. His bail was set at $150,000, according to court records.

Britney Martin is charged with sexual intercourse with an animal and cruelty to animals.

Jadzia Martin is charged with conspiracy to commit sexual intercourse with an animal and cruelty to animals.
